Our actions towards a better community

In collaboration with @airsidehk , we’re stepping up our game to introduce more local, organic produce into our menu.

This milestone is not just about the harvest; it’s a celebration of our journey towards sustainability and commitment to bringing fully organic, rooftop-grown vegetables directly to you, our valued TREEHOUSE customers.

Stay tuned as we continue to grow, not just our plants, but our community’s connection to real, wholesome food.

Find on our menu the carbon footprint in kgs of greenhouse gases (CO2 equivalents (CO2e) of our items. Low, medium or high climate-impact icons will clearly show the different levels of gas emissions that contribute to global warming. A low climate-impact meal is defined as emitting 0.5 kg CO2e or less, based on WWF’s One Planet Plate initiative for how to eat to reach the UN’s climate goals.

Creating a more positive impact through more informative menu

We work with our data partner Klimato that’s spent years compiling an extensive database of food items and their average carbon footprint. Klimato works with numerous restaurants, universities and caterers and is backed by prominent research institutes such as the RISE Food Climate Database and the Swedish Environmental Institute.

Eden Reforestation Projects

This collaboration is actually made possible by you! Have you noticed the tree icons next to the combos on our menu?

For every combo purchased we match the purchase to donate trees to this amazing project. Whether you order in our restaurant, online for pick-up or even delivery, we’re all helping to replenish this beautiful planet.

Foodlink Foundation

“Currently, over 1.6 million people live below the poverty line in Hong Kong. To ensure that every needy person has access to a hot, healthy meal, every single day, we act as a bridge — a charity dedicated to connecting the supply directly to the demand, as often as possible, by collecting safe-to-eat surplus food from F&B outlets all over the city and deliver to those in need. While reducing hunger we also reduce the pressure on our city's landfills.

Each new day brings new and exciting challenges as we aim to expand the number of hot meals we can provide into every district of Hong Kong and as we continue to “Replace Hunger with a Smile!”

#sharethatlove

Every Wednesday afternoon, from 5 May to 7 July, in collaboration with ImpactHK and Warner Music HK, we prepared 150 donation meals for our neighbours in need throughout Hong Kong.

This wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our suppliers:

Wah Kee Fresh Fruit & Vegetables
