Welcome to the first of what will be many blog posts to come! In addition to our monthly newsletter that goes out to our Loyalty Members, this blog will be here to discuss a variety of topics that surround the plant based world.

It’s interesting. We don’t consider ourselves a vegan restaurant or even a vegetarian restaurant. If you didn’t know already, we focus on providing a wide range of whole food plant based meals to anyone who is interested.

We see ourselves as a fast casual restaurant with great food…that happens to not serve meat.

What to expect from this blog

As we begin to spread our wings across this beautiful planet, we’re hoping to come across new people with different points of view about how we eat, eco-friendly practices, sustainability, the business of food, and broader topics like fitness, mental health, and even stress management.

There are so many issues and challenges that surround what we eat, and with your help we’d like to talk about as many of them as we can. So at any time you have a particular discussion you’d like to bring up, please feel free to let us know!

Our founder, Christian Mongendre, has made it his personal and professional goal to help educate those who are interested about the plant based world. From a mother who raised him primarily vegetarian to his own discovery about how a plant base diet could give him a competitive edge in sports, it’s become a passion.

We like using the term plant based because there are so many variations and segments that it’s hard to keep up with.

Why give it a label?

There’s vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and pescatarian. There are those who only eat raw foods. We’re so diverse! But we all have one thing in common: we want what’s best for both our bodies and the planet.

We’ll keep this first post fairly short, but be on the lookout for the next one. You can even sign up to be informed when the posts are going out.

Until then have a wonderful week!
